Bach 16 Vintage 1982 SN 51281 .495/.509 Dual Bore Model. The bell engraving is stamped "M" however, the "M" implies straight bore slide, typically an LT nickel silver. It was not uncommon to mix and match dual bore and straight bore slides on this model. This one is a Great Player and has had full shop service. No dents or dings, slide has been aligned and gone over, including chemical bath. No issues with playability. Would be a perfect pro level lead or jazz horn. In addition, I know quite a few pro orchestra guys that also use this model for shows and pops when the music calls for more of a commercial sound. It is hard to beat the gorgeous overtones in a Bach small bore- just listen to Bill Watrous, or Bob McChesney.
