Bach Stradivarius Model 12, Elkhart, IN, Corporation era from mid 1970's, 1975-76.  Many top players and collectors feel that procuction during the Bach "Corporation" period, up to 1976 are the best ones ever made. This is the classic model 12 that has .500 bore and 7.5" yellow brass bell.  Top players today use this model for jazz, solo, studio work.  Bob McChesney is a prime example. Has lots of center and warmth with gorgeous Bach overtones.  This horn is in very good condition.  Handslide is perfect, no flaws. Excellent slide action, no previous damage, repairs, or plating loss on inner slide tubes.  Bell section is in very good condition, except for a scratch on the flare in a V shape about 1.5-2" visible on the outer bell, in our second downard view of the bell, the flaw can be seen in the 5:00 position.  We will try to smooth it out further and update photo's upon completion.  This horn has the original French style case.  Case is in great condition except for the fabric, which has separated from the plywood, an easy repair would be black cloth tape.  This classic model sells new today for over $2800.
