Bach

Bach 42BO-G-LT, approx 15 years old.  This is the classic open wrap model that Bach is known for.  This model has an 8.5" gold brass bell, one piece, soldered rim, lightweight nickel silver slide .547 bore for large shank mouthpiece.  This horn was originally purchased by a top Principal orchestra pro, active on the scene today.  We did full shop service here, including chemical bath and once over.  Lacquer overall is in very good condition.  There is some acid bleed around the rim.  This is a typical defect that occurs in the manufacturing process, very common.  The good news is that it will not spread or get worse. The original owner had customized this horn with a different valve section, but we remounted it back to the original valve section.  It plays fantastic.  The handslide has had a pro set-up and is tension free, perfect action, no plating defects on the inner tubes.  Gold Brass bells with nickel silver slides have always been a winning combination- the Chicago Symphony section plays gold/nickel Bach.  This would be an amazing horn for any advancing player looking for that first pro level horn.  Includes original case, good condition. Will not disappoint.
